Cedric Harville is a doctoral candidate in Health Education and Behavior at the University of Florida. Some of his research interests include: Men’s Health (specifically African-American men’s health) and Health Disparities, along with Improving Health Literacy through Technology. Cedric is also an active member of the American Public Health Association where he currently serves as Chair-Elect for the Public Health Education and Health Promotion Student Engagement Workgroup. Cedric’s passion is improving the health outcomes of African-American Men through community engagement, sustainable research and innovation.
Ashtin Morio is an undergraduate student in Health Education and Behavior at the University of Florida. Not only interested in development and dissemination of health education, she is passionate about giving back to the community and does this by serving on the Executive Board of both Epsilon Sigma Alpha Service Organization and Eta Sigma Gamma National Health Honorary, but also by volunteering abroad. She hopes to use her experience and skills obtained as an undergraduate to pursue a degree in Health Administration.
Juan Mayo is an undergraduate student in Health Education and Behavior at the University of Florida. He aspires to become a Physician Assistant and work with patients in the field of Sports Medicine. In addition to being a student, he is a first generation Filipino-American, the President of the Filipino Student Association at the University of Florida and is a Certified Nurse Assistant through the Florida Board of Nursing. With his experience as the VP of Multimedia and the current President of the Filipino Student Association, he is skilled in videography, video editing, and has invaluable leadership qualities that can that can benefit all aspects of a team. Juan is interested in raising social media awareness to educate, connect and advocate many health topics across a large network of people.
Katherine Wiley is an undergraduate student in Health Science at the University of Florida. She is a second year pre-pharmacy student with interests in public health as well as direct patient care. Not only does she participate in health related activities, but also in music such as flute ensemble. She hopes to use her undergraduate experience in volunteering and research to help directly serve patients as a pediatric pharmacist, or as a clinical research pharmacist.
